About

Lucy Jane Burton is interested in soft materials and ideas with a hint of warmth. She uses fibers, paper, natural dyes, light, and color. She often uses transparent materials and layering in a type of three dimensional collage. She is interested in ideas related to memory, hope, and playfulness.

Burton received her BFA in Fibers from Indiana University in 2019.
